Cloaking your links manually

Cloaking and shortening your affiliate links is very important. It protects your affiliate links to commission thief and it makes the long url to as short as possible. And there are so many Cloaker and Link Shortening sites in the web... but there is danger using them. For instance, what will happens to the link if the cloaker site locked your links due to "spamming", or it closed down and disappear-- Your advertising efforts will all be wasted!

My advice is cloak your links with your own hosted script. I know, some of you have already know how to cloak links manually, but for those who doesn't.. here's how to do it.

First, open up a blank notepad then copy and paste the following html code:

This is basically a redirect link and the only things you have to change are the titles, which are highlighted in red. Once done, save it with a short and easy name and add ".php" as the extension. For example, if you are cloaking a link for "acme", just save the notepad document as “acme.php” so it’s easy to remember.

At last, you have the redirect file, you must upload that file to your host or server. Now, you have your cloaked affiliate link, just use the URL as “http://www.yoursite.com/acme.php” and whenever someone clicks on that, it will redirect them to your affiliate link.
